Duhovka Montessori Teacher Education Program

 

Located in Prague, Czech Republic, Duhovka Montessori Teacher Education Program prepares the Adult Learner for a successful career as a Montessori Teacher anywhere in the world. Graduates will earn an American Montessori Society Credential according to course level. This Montessori diploma is recognized by Montessori schools and organizations internationally.

 

Our courses are taught in English by international, credentialed staff, with respect for multilingual and multicultural environments. Duhovka Montessori Teacher Education Program Early Childhood and Elementary I-II hold Full Affiliate status with the American Montessori Society (AMS) and are accredited by the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education.

Our Early Childhood Teacher Training prepares the Adult Learner for their role as a Montessori guide in a mixed age Early Childhood (2.5 – 6) classroom. Includes an Academic Phase with a minimum of 361 academic hours and a Practicum Phase with minimum of 540 hours.

Summer 2022, Prague, CZ

Our program prepares the Adult Learner for their role as a Montessori guide in a mixed age Lower Elementary (6-9) classroom. The course is comprised of a minimum of 401 academic hours, and the Practicum model involves a minimum of 1,080 hours.

Our program prepares the Adult Learner for their role as a Montessori guide in either Lower Elementary (6-9) or Upper Elementary (9-12) mixed age classrooms. Includes an Academic Phase with a minimum of 611 academic hours and a Practicum Phase with minimum of 1,080 hours.

Duhovka Montessori Teacher Education Training Program is an American Montessori Society affiliate. The American Montessori Society (AMS) is the governing body that Duhovka Montessori Teacher Training Program graduates receive their credentials from. Established in 1960 in New York city the AMS currently has upwards of 13,000 members globally.
